ParkingPal Giveaway!

I had the pleasure of Trying one of these neat little creations out, so I stuck one just like the one above to my truck and took off, my son is 2 so I was a little worried he would not under stand what to do when we got out of the truck in the parking lot I told him to give the ParkingPal a High Five and He did so I could get his sister and my bags out of the truck, just not long enough before I knew it he had let go and was off so I think he was still just a little to young for it!
So I came up with a new way to use the ParkingPal in my home until he is old enough to use it in a parking lot and me feel comfortable that he will not run off again LOL! We are trying time outs around our house but again he is not picking up on the hole knees thing so I was sitting him in a chair but when the ParkingPal came along I decided to try a new way of things I stuck it to a surface in my home and when he needs to cool off he puts his hand there for his cooling down time and it works great! So until he is ready for the Parking Lot we will practice in our home Thanks ParkingPal!

    I found two I liked.
    Teach them that parked vehicles might move and teach them to stay safely away
    Teach them NEVER to play around or behind a vehicle

    Its really dangerous to have kids play around the vehicle especially at the back of the car. So its always good to tell them NEVER TO PLAY around or behind.

    Never leave a child unattended around a moving vehicle, not even for a few seconds.

    i think that's something you always think they know but you forget they don't have the life experience to tell them this isn't a great idea. you hear about kids being killed this way when parents run over their children. how heartbreaking

    I think the picture of that many kids behind the SUV and them unable to see the little one's is the most profound to me! How scary that a whole class of kids could be back there and no one would know it.

    A parking pal is ALOT better than a dirty car (especially in the winter!)

    One of their tips is to teach kids to never play in driveways. With two new kids on their way from Africa (we are adopting) this will be an invaluable resource for us.

    Never play in driveways. Steven Curtis Chapman just lost his daughter a few months ago when she was struck by her brother in their driveway. Breaks my heart for their family. It's so difficult to see a child sitting down in a driveway when you turn in sometimes. Especially when people have bushes and fences along obstructing your view.

    Everyone talks around not playing outside the car; but how about teaching children the location for locks in a car; how many die from suffocation in hot cars; many thanks and don't forget the window releases; many thanks today and again; SW
